It struck me when I saw this fruity vintage beaded clutch by Inge Christopher in a Sex & the City episode: what had previously been Seventies, was suddenly cool again.
Then, only last year, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada and Stella McCartney relaunched the fruit theme widely on the catwalks with bold, colourful prints on clothes and accessories.
I love the fact that this trend is back again, not only because fruit-themed fashion and accessories are now more and more available in shops, but also because you can adorn yourself with them without being perceived like a total freak.
Here is Styling Notes’ fruit salad: bananas, pineapples, oranges, watermelons, cherries, grapes and apples.
